JAV-OCHA COFFEE

I know, I know....my graphic at the top of the page says "ARIOSA" coffee. But Arbuckles' produced coffee under several other brand names as well, one of which was "JAV-OCHA". It seems that at least a small number of trade cards were produced for the JAV-OCHA brand. Thus far, I'm only aware of the four cards shown below. (If anyone else can supply images of other JAV-OCHA cards for this site, please e-mail me at jrbuck@att.net).

These cards seem to be similar to the Ariosa "Counter" cards in that there is no standard size to the cards and their subjects don't appear to belong to a "set" of any kind. As with the Ariosa "Counter" cards, these are all likely ordinary stock cards that Arbuckles' simply imprinted with their own advertising and distributed as needed to their retail merchants. So far I'm only aware of one text style imprinted on the backs of the cards in this group. (See example.)
