Although the cards in this
series didn't include any additional descriptive
information for the individual animals, the subsequently issued
Album of Illustrated Natural History
did devote a paragraph to
Gems-Bok
NOTE: I also have a copy of this card which carries #43 on the back, which I presume is a printing error.
Except for the different numbers, I can find no differences between the two cards other than the normal variations in color that commonly occur in the series. (My #45 card is noticeably brighter than the #43 variety.) |
